Some € 250 million of EU funds are set aside for spending on education each year. Students are also well placed to benefit from considerable additional sums (up to € 300 million) through programmes for job training, youth and information technology for example. Many opportunities are linked to funding for students or educational establishments in or from countries outside the EU.
